Access

Robomech2025 events will be held at the following three venues. Free shuttle buses will operate between the lecture venue and Yamagata Station on June 5–6.

 

 

Shuttle Bus & Transportation Information

To reach Yamagata Big Wing from JR Yamagata Station, we recommend the following options. ① The shuttle bus may take time during rush hours (about 30 minutes) and may be crowded. Consider using ② JR trains for more punctual arrival.

① Shuttle Bus

Free shuttle buses run from JR Yamagata Station West Exit.

June 5 (Thu)

7:45–13:45 (Yamagata Sta. ⇒ Yamagata Big Wing)
11:00–17:00 (Yamagata Big Wing ⇒ Yamagata Sta.)

June 6 (Fri)

7:45–15:15 (Yamagata Sta. ⇒ Yamagata Big Wing)
11:00–18:00 (Yamagata Big Wing ⇒ Yamagata Sta.)

② JR Train

Take the Senzan or Ou Main Line from JR Yamagata Station to JR Uzen-Chitose Station (approx. 6 minutes), then walk 18 minutes (1.3 km) to Yamagata Big Wing. Train frequency is about once per hour. Please check the schedule in advance.

③ Taxi

One-way fare is around 3,000 JPY, but it may be difficult to catch a taxi on the day. We recommend using options ① or ② instead.

From Yamagata Station ticket gate, go through the West Exit and across the pedestrian bridge to the temporary bus stops (locations vary by day).

Accommodation

Hotel prices in Yamagata City are rising due to dynamic pricing. Consider staying in Sendai, which is within a day-trip distance. Access from Sendai is as follows:
