On Requirements for ROBOMECH2023 Presenters
\nand JSME Membership Package<\/h3>\n

The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) limits the qualifications for research presentation lectures to members, sponsors, and sponsoring organizations.
\nFor more details, please refer to this [link]<\/a>\u00a0(Japanese).This rule also applies to ROBOMECH2023.<\/p>\n

JSME has prepared a membership package that allows you to join ROBOMECH 2023 as a non-member or as a general student without paying the admission fee and the annual membership fee for 2023.
\n* Registration through the JSME Membership Package is non-cancellable and non-refundable.
\n* The total amount may be cheaper if you register as a full-time member or a student member after joining without using the membership package. Those who have decided to join are recommended to join in advance.
\n*Students who enroll using the Membership Package will be \"no journal distribution\", so those who wish to distribute the journal should join without using Membership Registration cannot be cancelled.Package.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please select one of the instructions below for procedures regarding paper and participation registration, paper submission and JSME membership application.<\/p>\n

  2. If you are a member of an associate academic society that accepts presentations by JSME members in their conferences<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. If you wish to apply the membership package (only when you become JSME member for the first time<\/span>)<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. If you wish to apply for JSME membership in a standard way (without the package)<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. If you are not a ROBOMECH2023 presenter but wish to apply for the membership package (only when you become JSME member for the first time<\/span>).<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    (1) If you are a member of JSME<\/h4>\n
      \n
    1. Complete the paper registration with Membership category \u201cMember of JSME.\u201d Your membership number is required. (due: February 20, 2023 February 13, 2023<\/s>)<\/li>\n
    2. Register yourself as a \u201cMember of JSME\u201d or \u201cStudent Member of JSME\u201d participant. Your membership number is required. (Complete the registration before the final paper submission.)<\/li>\n
    3. In order to upload your final paper, you are requested to enter the following three numbers: Presentation Registration ID number, JSME Membership ID number, and Reservation Number. (due: March 27, 2023)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      (2) If you are a member of an associate academic society that accepts presentations by JSME members in their conferences<\/h4>\n
        \n
      1. Complete paper registration with Membership category \u201cAssociate Society Member.\u201d (due: February 20, 2023 February 13, 2023<\/s>)<\/li>\n
      2. Register yourself as a \u201cMember of Associate Society\u201d or \u201cStudent Member of Associate Society\u201d participant. (Complete the registration before the final paper submission.)<\/li>\n
      3. In order to upload your final paper, you are requested to enter the following three numbers: Presentation Registration Number, Membership number of the associate academic society, and Reservation Number. (due: March 27, 2023)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        (3) If you wish to apply for the membership package (Registration cannot be cancelled.) <\/h4>\n
          \n
        1. Complete paper registration with Membership category \u201cMembership package.\u201d (due: February 20, 2023 February 13, 2023<\/s>)<\/li>\n
        2. Apply for a membership in the\u00a0JSME site<\/a>.\u00a0At that time, Select \"Robomech 2023 Enrollment Pack\" in the Application Information and \"For Robomech 2023 Enrollment Pack\" in the Payment Method. Please be sure to register an email address that you can contact in June 2023.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
        3. Register yourself as a\u00a0\u201cNon-Member\u201d or \u201cStudent Non-Member\u201d<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0participant. (Complete the registration before the final paper submission.)<\/li>\n
        4. In order to upload your final paper, you are requested to enter the following three numbers: Presentation Registration ID number, a tentative membership registration number (8-digit number - 5-digit number) issued automatically at JSME web site, and Reservation number. (due: March 27, 2023)
          \n*Your official JSME membership number will be notified around the 20th of each month upon receipt of your payment. Please note that cancellations will not be accepted after payment of the registration fee.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          (4) If you wish to apply for JSME membership in a standard way (without the package)<\/h4>\n

          JSME issues official membership numbers on 20th of every month for new members who complete application in the JSME site and payment by this date (Note: payment must arrive at JSME bank account by this date (if the date falls on a public holiday, Saturday, or Sunday, then the day before). Or, automatic bank account transfer application form must arrive JSME by this date). Therefore, a ROBOMECH2023 presenter must follow the schedule below.<\/p>\n

          1. Complete paper registration with Membership category \u201cMember of JSME\u201d with \u201cRegular (application pending)\u201d or \u201cStudent (application pending)\u201d options selected. (due: February 20, 2023 February 13, 2023<\/s>)<\/li>\n
          2. Apply for a membership in the\u00a0JSME site<\/a>.\u00a0After that, please pay the admission fee and annual membership fee according to the guidance of the billing email.(The period from filling out the membership form to completing the membership is approximately one week. Membership registration will be done after payment is confirmed. It will take several days from payment to confirmation, so please complete the procedure as soon as possible.)<\/strong><\/li>\n
          3. Once your official membership number is issued, register yourself as a \u201cMember of JSME\u201d or \u201cStudent Member of JSME\u201d participant. Your membership number is required. (Complete the registration before the final paper submission)<\/li>\n
          4. In order to upload your final paper, you are requested to enter the following three numbers: Presentation Registration ID Number, JSME Membership number and Reservation Number. (due: March 27, 2023)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            (5) If you are not a ROBOMECH2023 presenter but wish to apply for the membership package (Registration cannot be cancelled.)<\/h4>\n

            1. Register yourself as a \u201cNon-Member\u201d or \u201cStudent Non-Member\u201d participant. (due: May 12, 2023)<\/li>\n
            2. Apply for a membership in the JSME site<\/a>. (due: May 12, 2023) At that time, Select \"Robomech 2023 Enrollment Pack\" in the Application Information and \"For Robomech 2023 Enrollment Pack\" in the Payment Method. Please be sure to register an email address that you can contact in June 2023.(due: May 12, 2023. Note that the enrollment pack will not be applied to applications that have passed this deadline.)<\/strong><\/span>
